MedExtract AI ("MedExtract," "we," "us") is operated by AuraQuan LLC, a Texas limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. By using medextractai.com (the "Service") you agree to this policy.

1. Important limitations

MedExtract AI is a document-analysis tool for legal professionals. It does not provide medical, clinical, or legal advice, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any output. We are not a HIPAA "covered entity" or "business associate" for the public Service, and we do not represent the public Service as HIPAA-compliant. We do not enter into Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) except under a separate signed enterprise agreement. Do not paste or upload Protected Health Information (PHI) or other regulated data into the public demo unless it is de-identified and you are authorized to do so.

2. Information we collect

• Contact & account data you submit (name, work email, firm name, phone).
• Demo input — any text you paste into the on-site AI demo, which is transmitted to our AI provider for processing to return a result.
• Records you upload if you use a paid feature, processed to produce summaries/timelines.
• Usage analytics — aggregate, cookieless analytics via Plausible (no cross-site tracking, no personal profiles).

3. Sub-processors

We share data only with service providers needed to operate the Service:

• Google (Gemini API) — processes text you submit to the AI demo/features to generate output.
• Stripe — payment processing for paid plans (we never store full card numbers).
• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery.
• Plausible — privacy-first, cookieless analytics.
• Crisp — optional live-chat support.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. How we use information

To provide and improve the Service, respond to inquiries, process payments, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

5. Retention & security

We retain contact data while your relationship with us is active and as required by law. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, or opt out of marketing, by emailing support@auraquan.com.
